List25k is the most simple and effective way we have found to manage a to-do list. This method has been taught by leaders such as Napoleon Hill, Earl Nightingale and many other management and efficiency personnels. Carnegie Mellon University Professor Randy Pausch has also described this method as one he personally uses himself. The most detailed and eloquent explanation of this method is told by Earl Nightingale in his audio book 'Lead the Field' (Please watch Part 6, 5:50mins in): Story has it that this method was given to a President of a steel company by an efficiency expert to implement in the work place. After using this method for a while and it had proven its worth, the President sent the efficiency expert a cheque for $25 000 with a letter saying "the lesson was the most profitable he had ever learnt in his life" Instructions: Preferably the night before (or before you start your day): 1. list down 6 most important things you need to do the next day. 2. Number each task in their order of importance (from 1 to 6). 3. In the morning, start doing the highest priority task and stick with it for as long as possible until successfully completed, before moving down the list. As many of us tend to do the easier tasks first and avoid doing the 1 or 2 tasks that normally contributes to 80% - 90% of the productivity, it is important to follow your list. Functions: 1.
